AVATAR FLIGHT OF PASSAGE - this is one of my favorite rides in all of Disney! You sit in/on something that looks kind of like a motorcycle and wear 3D glasses. Once the ride starts, it looks/feels like you’re riding on the back of a flying creature through Pandora. Height requirement is 44”. This one is not included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass and has the extra “Lightning Lane Single Pass” purchase. You can either rope drop this one, pay the extra fee, hope the line gets shorter at the very end of the day, or just stand in the standby line no matter how long it takes!

DINOSAUR - This one is not my fav. I always feel like I need to see a chiropractor immediately after I ride this. Ha! You ride in a jeep looking vehicle through different dinosaur scenes but the terrain is VERY rough and some of the dinosaurs can be a little scary if you have a young child or a child who is more sensitive to scary things. Height requirement is 40”. This attraction is included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

EXPEDITION EVEREST - This is a great roller coaster! It goes backwards for a bit and has a pretty big drop at the end but it’s a family favorite. It’s my middle son's favorite ride in all of Disney! Height requirement is 44”. This attraction is included in Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

FEATHERED FRIENDS IN FLIGHT! - This is a show but it’s really fun to watch. It’s in an outdoor theater so it shuts down if the weather isn’t cooperating but if you can catch it, we enjoy it and it’s a good chance to rest a little. I wouldn’t say it’s a “must see” but if you’re near the theater and the show is starting soon, it's fun to stop and watch.

FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING - Love this show! It’s a can’t miss for me. It lasts about 30 minutes and is interactive and very entertaining.

FINDING NEMO: THE BIG BLUE… AND BEYOND! - This is also a show and while it’s GREAT, if I had to choose a favorite between this one and Lion King (both major productions with Broadway quality performances), I would choose Lion King. I still highly recommend this show. I'm simply saying, if time causes you to choose between this one and Festival of the Lion King, choose FLK.

IT’S TOUGH TO BE A BUG! - This is a fun little 4D show. It’s all fun and games until it feels like bugs are crawling in your seat! Ha! We often skip this but we enjoy it when we go. It will be closing permanently in the near future so you may want to see it before it's gone.

KALI RIVER RAPIDS - This is a water ride and you will definitely get soaked on it. It’s the kind of ride they have at other theme parks too where you sit in a giant circular boat. KILIMANJARO SAFARIS - This one is definitely the signature ride at Animal Kingdom! You ride in a big truck with long bench seats through the part of the park where most of the animals live. It’s so much fun to see all the animals up close and since the animals are real, you get a different experience every time you ride it! We like to do this one twice, at different times of the day, if we have time. There is no height requirement for this attraction and it is eligible for Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

FROZEN EVER AFTER Located in Norway, this is a fun boat ride for the whole family. I think it's an enjoyable attraction even if you don't have a big Frozen lover in the family/group. You will likely get a teeny bit wet from small splashes but nothing significant. There is no height requirement for this attraction and it is a "First Tier" option eligible for Lightning Lane Multi Pass. GRAN FIESTA TOUR STARRING THE THREE CABALLEROS- Located in Mexico, this is another fun boat ride for the whole family but zero splashing on this one. This attraction is not eligible for Lightning Lane Multi Pass but there’s usually not much of a wait. No height requirement.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: COSMIC REWIND- This is a GREAT roller coaster. There are six different songs you can get during your ride and each song changes the experience. It's really fun to do this one more than once in hopes of getting different songs each time. This coaster is fairly intense and can cause motion sickness if that's something you are prone to experience. The height requirement is 42”. This is an extremely popular attraction so the standby line can get very long. If you're planning to "rope drop" Epcot, that's a good option for getting a shorter line on this attraction. Otherwise, purchasing Lightning Lane Single Pass is your best option. LIVING WITH THE LAND- Another slow boat ride. This one is really long and it goes through Disney’s indoor Garden and fish hatchery. I think it's really cool (but this one seems to get both big love and big hate depending on the Disney lover you're talking to) and a great chance to rest your feet! Usually no wait on this one and no height requirement. There is a little bit of a simulated storm on part of this ride that can be a little scary to some little ones. MISSION: SPACE- This one has two different rides in one. You choose Green Mission or Orange Mission. Green is MUCH less intense. I felt like the skin was going to come off my legs the last time I did Orange! Haha They also spend a LOT of time warning about motion sickness on Orange so that's something to consider if that may be an issue for you. Height requirement is 40" for green and 44" for orange and this attraction is eligible as a second tier choice with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

REMY’S RATATOUILLE ADVENTURE - We love this ride! Same ride technology as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance but this one also includes 3D glasses and a 4D experience (this includes a very very small amount of splashing. Nothing significant at all but something to note if that might bother anyone in your group. There is no height requirement on this one! It is eligible as a first tier selection with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Please indicate in the comments if this attraction is a high or low priority for your group.

THE SEAS WITH NEMO & FRIENDS - This is a great ride for littles and it almost never has a line. You ride in a slow moving shell (very similar to the Little Mermaid ride at MK) through scenes from the movie and end in an actual aquarium with real fish and projections of the fish from the movie. When you exit the ride, you’re in a really cool space with an aquarium and things to look at and climb on. SOMETIMES you even get to see Mickey in scuba gear in the tank. No height requirement here. This attraction is eligible as a second tier attraction with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

SOARIN’ AROUND THE WORLD - This one is a family fav. Feels like you’re hang gliding (from a sitting position) around the world. SPACESHIP EARTH - Very iconic and traditional Disney ride since it’s inside the Epcot ball!! JOURNEY OF WATER, INSPIRED BY MOANA - This is an outdoor, interactive water attraction with a Moana theme. I really enjoy walking through it and my younger kids are huge fans. ALIEN SWIRLING SAUCERS - This is similar to the teacups in Magic Kingdom. The swirling saucers spin so if you don’t love to spin, this is not for you. Ha! This is one of those rides that doesn’t usually have a huge line (though it can on a busy day) so it can often be done in between multi pass rides. The height requirement for this attraction is 32 inches. This attraction is eligible as a second tier selection with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

MILLENNIUM FALCON: SMUGGLERS RUN - This ride is fun (a favorite for my kids) but a little jerky. It’s a flight simulator and up to 6 people get in one “aircraft” together. I have been on this ride with people who got motion sickness from it so keep that in mind if anyone in your party is likely to experience motion sickness. There are also often characters right outside this ride (Chewbacca, R2D2, Rey, etc.). ROCK ‘N’ ROLLER COASTER STARRING AEROSMITH - This is a rollercoaster featuring Aerosmith music and theming. It’s all indoors and mostly dark. It’s very fun but one of the most intense rollercoasters in all of Disney World. It does go upside down and slings you around a bit. I always take my earrings off for this one because I feel like they're going to get jammed into my head if I don't! Ha! The height requirement for this attraction is 48 inches and it is eligible as first tier selection with Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

We often skip this one but if you haven't done it before or haven't been in a while, they did add several new storylines/scenes in early 2024. TIANA'S BAYOU ADVENTURE- This is a brand new attraction (a makeover of the old Splash Mountain) and I think it's great. It's a log flume style ride with a few very small drops and one big drop but it's a long ride with lots of great music and fun animatronic scenes. This attraction currently has a virtual queue (expect this to be discontinued very soon) and is also offered as a first tier selection through Lightning Lane Multi Pass. There is currently no standby line for this attraction. The height requirement for this attraction is 40 inches.

TOMORROWLAND SPEEDWAY - These are individual go-cart style cars that hold up to 2 people (sometimes they'll let you squeeze in a third. I do not personally love this ride but we usually do it! Ha! The height requirement is 32 inches and it is eligible as a second tier selection through Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

UNDER THE SEA: JOURNEY OF THE LITTLE MERMAID - This is a slow ride through scenes from The Little Mermaid. TOMORROWLAND TRANSIT AUTHORITY PEOPLEMOVER - This ride has a special place in my heart! Ha! I don’t know why but I love it so much. It sort of looks like a train but the track is raised in the air. It takes you on a tour of Tomorrowland with great views of the park and Cinderella’s castle. We really love to do this one at night during the fireworks. There is no height requirement for this ride and it does not have a Lightning Lane.

COUNTRY BEAR MUSICAL JAMBOREE - This is a show with animatronic singing bears. It was recently completely redone and I think it's a lot better than it was before. One of my kids is a HUGE fan of this show but I could take it or leave it. There is no height requirement for this attraction.

ASTRO ORBITER - The way this ride works is similar to Dumbo or Flying Carpets but you actually have to ride an elevator up to the ride so it’s much higher in the air and has great views of both Magic Kingdom and the nearby resorts. MAGIC CARPETS OF ALADDIN - The magic carpets go in a circle like Dumbo and Astro Orbiter. TRON LIGHTCYCLE RUN - I guess you would call this a roller coaster but it’s more smooth than a typical roller coaster and the ride vehicle looks like a motorcycle. It’s very fast and has some drops. The height requirement for this attraction is 48 inches and standing in the Lightning Lane requires an individual purchase of Lightning Lane Single Pass.
